Fresh Arts - Staff Arts Club
Fresh Arts runs a Staff Arts Club (SAC) open to all North
Bristol NHS Trust employees whether you’re based at Frenchay or
Southmead hospitals or working out in the
community.
The Joy of Singing
Unleash your inner Adele by joining us on
Saturday 17 March between 1pm and 4pm. You will be able to
explore your voice and let yourself be heard with this fun,
informal voice and singing workshop, led by Jules Olsen a
Bristol-based vocal coach.
Participants will be led in playful exercises
and uplifting songs to open up the voice and experience the joy of
group singing – you WON’T be asked to sing a solo!
No previous music or singing experience
necessary, you don’t need to read music, just bring your voice and
give it a go.
If you would like to book a place, please
download and complete the
Fresh Arts booking form .
You can sign up to the regular bulletins by emailing fresh.arts@nbt.nhs.uk.
The Staff Arts Club is a chance for staff to engage in arts
activities in a relaxed and sociable setting outside their
work context.
Many staff enjoy getting to know people from
other departments whilst enjoying a bit of ‘me’ time.
Staff are encouraged to take part in creative
activities as a means of reducing stress and learning new
skills.
Whether the activity is something you have
never tried or is something you have always fancied having a go at,
Staff Arts Club is an opportunity to try all sorts of different
activities for free!
Previous workshops have included:
- Sculpture
- Singing
- Pottery
- Drawing
- Fimo modelling

... what a thoroughly enjoyable workshop we had last night with Charlotte! She had a great array of colours and equipment and made it all look so easy and the two hours flew by. I'm not very artistic but managed to make some basic Christmas decorations and went away with a lot of ideas. Highly recommended and would love to do another session.
