North Bristol NHS Trust Board
The North Bristol NHS Trust is governed by the Trust Board,
which consists of a Chairman, the Chief Executive, Executive Directors and six
Non-Executive Directors.
Chairman
Peter Rilett is our Chairman. Peter was senior partner in charge of the Bristol office of KPMG and is a trustee of the Greater Bristol Foundation. He is also Chairman of governors at Bristol Grammar School.
Chief Executive
Ruth Brunt is our Chief Executive. She joined the Trust on
April 1, 2004, as director of nursing and she was formerly the director of
nursing and operations at Northern Devon Healthcare Trust. Ruth was also director
of nursing for both North Devon and the Royal Devon and Exeter Trust for a
year whilst the two trusts were considering a merger.
