From February 2008, North Bristol NHS Trust started up a pacemaker implant and follow up service.
This has quickly expanded to incorporate the implantation and follow up of implantable cardiac defibrillators and implantable loop recorders and the follow up of biventricular pacemakers (heart failure devices).
Pacing clinics are provided at the Brunel building at Southmead Hospital Bristol and at Cossham Hospital.
