Spiritual & Pastoral Care
Illness and injury can have an impact on your whole life, not
just your body. And it can be hard to talk about your
anxieties or fears with the people you are closest to. We are
keen to help by supporting the full range and variety of spiritual
and religious needs of our patients, their carers and staff.
Our chaplaincy team consists of chaplains from the main
Christian denominations, supported by a team of trained volunteers.
We also welcome representatives and leaders of other faiths into
the hospital to support patients, carers and staff. If you
would like a hospital chaplain to visit, please inform the
nurse.
Patients are also welcome to visit our hospital
chapel. There are multi faith rooms for reflection and prayer
on both sites.
You can also ask your own pastor, minister, priest or other
religious or spiritual leader to contact us on your behalf.
