Date: January 27 2012
Time: 10am to 1pm
Venue: Monica Britton Hall, Frenchay Hospital
This event is for patients who have had surgery to remove meningioma's (brain tumours) at Frenchay Hospital to come together to discuss their treatment, patient journey and ongoing needs.
Speakers include David Porter, consultant neurosurgeon and Ella Pybus, the co-founder of the charity Meningioma UK.
There will also be time for participants to ask any questions and share their experiences with one another.
It is also an opportunity for participants to complete a questionnaire about their patient journey and give us their opinions on a patient information leaflet.
There is a limited number places and if patients are interested please contact Mr Porter's Secretary.
If there is enough interest we are planning that this day will be the first of a regular meeting so there will be plenty of opportunity for people who we are not able to accommodate first time.
