Speech and Language Therapist

I qualified as a speech and language therapist (SLT) in 2010. I have worked as a Paediatric SLT since then in Manchester, Wiltshire and Bristol.  I have worked with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs.  In 2014 I started an SLT role in Bristol and nowI now work as part of the Early Years, Mainstream Schools and work as part of the Specialist Stammering Services for Bristol Community Healthin Bristol and South Gloucestershire..
In 2019 I I have received funding from thecompleted a Masters in Clinical Research funded by the  National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to undertake a Masters in Clinical Research.  I will complete this Masters alongside my clinical work from Sept 2017 – Sept 2019.  During my Masters I will undertake undertook research into an interventions for teenagers who stammer. I have recently been awarded some further funding by the NIHR and hope to be able to continue researching interventions for teenagers who stammer.
