North Bristol NHS Trust annual public meeting (September 7 2011)

North Bristol NHS Trust holds its annual public meeting on Wednesday, September 7 at 7pm (doors open 6.30pm).

It takes place at the Learning & Research building at Southmead Hospital. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Chief Executive Ruth Brunt and Chairman Peter Rilett will give an overview of the past 12 months at Frenchay and Southmead hospitals, and the Trust’s local community health services.

There will be presentations from clinicians on pioneering new neurosurgery that could help children with cerebral palsy walk unaided and the hip fracture service at Frenchay which has recently been rated the best in the south west.

There will also be an update on progress made on the new hospital at Southmead.

Copies of the new annual report will be available and free refreshments served.
