Send a virtual thank you to healthcare staff at North Bristol NHS Trust

North Bristol NHS Trust has launched a virtual Send a Thank You for patients and visitors to express their appreciation to the healthcare staff who looked after them.
The Send a Thank You form is designed to enable patients or their relatives to contact the teams who have helped them at Frenchay Hospital, Southmead Hospital or through our community health services.
Each year North Bristol NHS Trust receives around 6,000 compliment letters and 600 letters of complaint.
Our advice and complaints team ensure that any compliments reach our medical, nursing, therapy and support teams.
They also assist patients or their relatives in making and resolving a complaint.

Send a Thank You is an online form where members of the public can leave their messages of thanks which will be passed on to the teams that treated them.
Ruth Brunt, Chief Executive, said: “NHS staff work extremely hard every day to deliver high quality patient care and we know from the number of compliment letters that their efforts are appreciated by many of our patients.
“We don’t always get it right and it is vital that people tell us when they feel their experience has fallen short of what they expect from us so that we can learn from it.
“But it is also important that we know when our services are delivered well so that equally we can learn from them and put in place best practice across the Trust.
“Above all else it is right that we continue to strive to deliver high quality healthcare and that we recognise those members of staff who do so.”
