Staff and patients can anonymously report instances of crime through Crimestoppers partnership
Thursday, 17 August 2017
We have partnered with Crimestoppers to help reduce crime and investigate future incidents.
Crimestoppers is an independent charity helping law enforcement to locate criminals and help solve crimes.
Today (August 17) the charity visited our Brunel building at Southmead Hospital to raise awareness of the support it can offer to staff, patients and visitors.
This includes an anonymous helpline through which staff, patients and visitors can report crime 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Crimestoppers can investigate offences such as bed-hopping, theft of medicines and equipment, abuse, human exploitation, knife crime, and violent behaviour.
Instances of crime can affect our ability to provide safe and urgent care to the community, so it is important that you report them.
To report a crime anonymously, please call 0800 587 1026 or visit www.safernhstrust.co.uk
