Young women’s breast care event

On Friday June 29 the Breast Care Centre at Southmead Hospital will hold a special workshop for women who have recived or are receiving treatment at the unit.
This event is open to women who were 45 years of age or younger when they received their diagnosis and offers an opportunity to meet others as well as attend presentations from one of the centre’s consultants, Sasirekha Govindarajulu.
There will also be make up artists from the Body Shop and Max Factor offering a make-over or manicure.
The event will be held at the BAWA club, 589 Southmead Road, BS34 7RG - which is near to Southmead Hospital.
The cost of the day including lunch and refreshments is free as it is provided courtesy of the centre’s charitable supporters BUST (Breast Unit Support Trust).
