Meet the team
The ICU research team includes the clinical research lead (Dr Matt Thomas), an Academic Clinical Fellow (Dr Aravind Ramesh) and ICU research nurses (Kati Hayes, Hayley Blakemore and ‘Bobbi’ Borislavova) working alongside the Acute Care Research team.
The team works closely with the Major Trauma Network whose research lead (Dr Julian Thompson) also works in the ICU. Other research active ICU consultants include Dr Kate Crewdson and Dr Chris Newell.
Additional consultants and junior medical staff may contribute to specific projects.
