We are motivated by our Core Vision to improve people's health  and care through the development of world-class research.

Our Mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients and local populations through excellence in research, conscious of inclusivity, minimising environmental impact, developed and delivered by a highly skilled, committed workforce.

The 2022 - 2027 strategy has two overarching principles:

- in everything we do we will seek true equality and inclusivity

Principle two

- In everything we do, we will seek to minimise the negative environmental impact of our actions.

  • Engage and empower patients and the public as partners in our world-class research
  • Support our workforce to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills to deliver world-class research
  • Research will be a core principle underpinning the day-to-day business of the Trust
