First Bus will be running a reduced bus service in Bristol from Tuesday 16 September - Friday 19 September 2025 due to industrial action.
First Bus has confirmed there will be a much lower level of service during the period, with more than 20 services due to be affected as a result of the action. Updates will be made to the First Bus website to reflect these changes.
Services in Bath and North East Somerset, Wells, Weston-super-Mare and the wider North Somerset area will continue to operate and are not impacted by industrial action. The full Metrobus network will operate, along with buses between Thornbury and Bristol and Yate and Bristol.
The changes to bus services during this period of industrial action are expected to cause significant disruption. We encourage patients, visitors and staff attending the hospital over the four days to consider alternative travel options and allow extra time for your journey.
