The situation involving a fire near to the Southmead site remains under control.
Please be assured that the hospital is fully open, however if you are driving to the site please use the main entrance off Monks Park Avenue, and allow extra time for your journey as nearby roads are affected.
Update at 14:00:
A fire has broken out nearby to our Southmead site.
There is no risk to the Hospital, its patients or staff.
Please take care when walking in the area, due to smoke.
