South West Neuromuscular Operational Delivery Network

Welcome to the South West Neuromuscular Operational Delivery Network (SWNODN) website.

South West Neuromuscular Operational Delivery Network (SWNODN) is a clinically driven network of key stakeholders including doctors, allied health professionals, NHS managers, commissioners, patients, carers and relatives of patients.

Our aim is to develop and establish world class and equitable care for people of all ages living with rare neuromuscular conditions in the South West of England, and to improve their quality of life and overall experience of NHS services.

To achieve this we will work with health and social care professionals to develop the appropriate services and increase the knowledge and skills required to manage these complex conditions.

The SWNODN directly employs a small team of neuromuscular specialists who are based across the South West. They work together to deliver paediatric and adult services for people affected by neuromuscular conditions covered by the Network.

We hope this website will develop into a valuable resource for members of the public and healthcare professionals, and we would value your feedback on its content, or any suggestions you may have on how we can improve it.
