Patient Experience Survey
The South West Neuromuscular Operational Delivery Network undertook a patient experience survey between August 2016 and January 2017. Patients were asked for their experience and opinion of how the network has supported them over the previous 12 months in relation to their neuromuscular condition. There was an overall response rate of 13%. Geographically, the responses were representative of the network population and there was a slightly higher response rate from the older patient group. At the same time, the Neurological Alliance commissioned their second patient survey called ‘Falling Short’. We compared the network's results to their report and, where directly comparable, the network responses outperformed the Falling Short Survey.

Your Feedback
We are always interested in hearing from you about your experiences as a patient, or life in general, related to your neuromuscular condition. Please email swneuromuscularodn@nbt.nhs.uk detailing any positive or negative experiences you have had; either through our own Specialist Neuromuscular Service or via other organisations which you access in relation to your neuromuscular condition. This will help us to recognise good practice across the South West and give us the opportunity to address things that may not be quite right. Thank you.
