Sacral Neuromodulation Surgical Training

A virtual e-course run in real-time. The Bristol Sacral NeuroModulation (SNM) Part I course is for delegates looking for comprehensive training on all aspects of this therapy.

The course is aimed at Urologists, Urogynaecologists & Colorectal Surgeons

Course content:

  • Assessment of the lower urinary tract and treatment pathways 
  • Assessment of bowel dysfunction and treatment pathways
  • Patient selection and clinical results 
  • SNM Techniques including animated videos
  • Demonstration of new systems
  • Videos of live surgery
  • Device selection & patient choice

Part II @ University of Bristol, School of Anatomy
Once delegates have completed Part I those, currently working in a current approved-to-commerce SNM service, can register for the hands on day. This will be in Bristol and is currently scheduled for 26th April 2021

Outline of content:     

  • Hands on training in anatomy lab on cadavers and models
  • Hands-on programming session
  • Complications and troubleshooting followed by case discussion
