This training session will give you an introduction into core and fringe vocabulary.
You may be very familiar with AAC, or very new. You may be using a high-tech device, or something paper-based. Either way, we hope you will learn something new from this training.
This training session will cover:
- What is meant by ‘core’ and ‘fringe’?
- Examples of core and fringe vocabularies
- How to teach the use of core vocabulary with practical examples
