Condition / Indication: To quantitatively measure the amount of FXa inhibition by unfractionated heparin (UFH), low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), or direct oral anticoagulants.
Special precautions & notes: Cannot use underfilled, overfilled, clotted, contaminated or samples aged (>24 hours).
Reference range: [UFH] Therapeutic range 0.3–0.7 IU/mL. [LMWH] Therapeutic 0.8 – 1.6 IU/ml (od dosing); 0.5 - 1.1 IU/mL (bd dosing); Prophylaxis 0.1 - 0.4 IU/mL
