Special precautions & notes: If hypoglycaemia is suspected, prior to giving glucose take a Fluoride (grey top) sample for glucose, Serum sample for insulin/C-Peptide and send immediately packed in ice to the laboratory and alert laboratory staff. 

Reference range: Interpretation depends on glucose level at the time of collection. Reference range/interpretation quoted on report provided by referral laboratory.
