Special precautions & notes: For anaphylaxis investigations contact the laboratory, there should ideally be three
samples:
1. Immediately after the event
2. 1-2 hours post event
3. 24 hours after the event or when patient clinically well
Please indicate time in hours post event on the request form (UHB/Weston laboratories
please indicate this in the Winpath ‘anaphylaxis time’ result field).

Reference range: 1-15 µg/l
