Condition / Indication: Investigation of anaphylaxis

Special precautions & notes: For anaphylaxis investigations there should ideally be three samples provided:
1. Immediately after the event
2. 1-2 hours post event
3. 24 hours after the event or when patient clinically well
Please note the laboratory will also accept single sample mast cell tryptase requests.
Please indicate time in hours post event on the request form (UHBW laboratories
please indicate this in the Winpath ‘anaphylaxis time’ result field).

Reference range: 1-15 µg/l
