Gastroenterology & Hepatology Outpatients
There are general gastroenterology clinics at Gate 12, Level 1, Brunel Building and at Cossham Hospital, Lodge Road, Kingswood, Bristol.
- Monday – 12pm to 4pm – Dr Griffiths. 1pm to 5pm – Dr Terlevich and Dr Chelvaratnam.
- Tuesday – 9am to 1pm – Dr Przemioslo, Dr Valliani and Dr Terlevich (Cossham Hospital).
- Wednesday – 2pm to 6pm – Dr Lockett and Dr Zeino.
- Friday – 8am to 12pm – Dr Lockett, Dr Terlevich. 1pm to 5pm – Dr Griffiths.
There is a short bowel clinic on Wednesdays in Gate 12 on Level 1 between 2pm to 6pm every 6 weeks with Dr Lockett.
Inflammatory Bowel disease (IBD) nurse specialist clinics are on Tuesday and Fridays. These clinics are for patients with inflammatory bowel disease who are known to our department.
There is a Hepatology clinic every Thursday at Gate 5, Level 1, Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital with Dr Przemioslo, Dr Valliani, Dr Chelvaratnam and Dr Zeino. We have a Liver specialist nurse, Alcohol specialist nurse and Liver dietician also seeing patients as part of the clinic.
We have close links with the liver transplant team at Kings College Hospital, London. There is a 3 monthly joint liver transplant clinic at Southmead Hospital which is attended by transplant consultants from Kings College Hospital.
There are Liver Specialist Nurse clinics on Wednesday 10am to 1pm and Thursday 1pm to 5pm at Gate 5, Level 1, Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital.

Medical Day Case
Patients who are having a number of procedures including intravenous biologic therapy and ascitic drains attend medical day case for half a day for the procedure.
