The Cardiology Department is responsible for carrying out a wide range of diagnosis tests & complex treatments on people with cardiac disease and other heart problems.
Cardiac Catheter Lab
The Cardiac Catheter Lab is on Level 2 of the Brunel Building and this is where procedures including coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, pacemaker and device implantation and cardioversions are performed.
Cardiology Inpatients
Inpatient services are provided on the Coronary Care Unit and Acute Cardiology ward based at Gate 27, Level 4 of the Brunel building.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Provides services that helps patients gradually & confidently achieve an optimal level of health, fitness & well being.
