The renal ward is at Gate 8b, Level 4, Brunel building, Southmead Hospital, Bristol. The ward has 34 beds, 26 of which are in beds are in single rooms with their own bathroom.
There are facilities for haemodialysis in each room. Not all patients with kidney problems are looked after on the kidney ward – our specialist medical team regularly reviews patients cared for on other wards, and our hospital haemodialysis team provides dialysis for patients on dialysis admitted to other wards.
