Hassan is a consultant physician in diabetes and endocrinology, with a special interest in obesity medicine, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and reproductive endocrinology. He completed a PhD and an NIHR clinical lectureship, focusing on obesity and PCOS.
He is the clinical lead for the tier 3 obesity service and runs dedicated clinics in weight management, PCOS, and diabetes. He also conducts a monthly joint reproductive endocrinology clinic.
